As officially stated within our Articles of Incorporation, the mission of The Open Door Project is as follows: To prevent, spread awareness about, and promote open communication regarding teen suicide.

However, this entails so much more than one sentence can explain. Through community outreach, intervention, research, funding of beneficial programs, social media, and so much more, The Open Door Project aims to not only lower the suicide rate amongst teens, but to provide support, share resources, and, as stated, promote open communication about this issue.
